- 3 lbs Gaspar’s Linguiça sliced in 1/2 inch slices (or 3 lbs Gaspar’s bite-sized Linguiça)
- 1 (8 oz) jar of grape jelly
- 1 (12 oz) jar chili sauce
- (Note: this recipe also works well with Gaspar’s Turkey Linguiça – 90% fat free!)
Preheat over to 400 degrees. Place Linguiça on rimmed cookie sheet or in square baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in large saucepan, warm jelly and chili over low heat stirring frequently. Add Linguiça to saucepan. Continue to warm (uncoverd) over medium heat for 10 minutes. Serve with toothpicks. This can be made several days in ahead and refrigerated. Heat to serve.
*Try this recipe in the microwave, warming Linguiça in large covered glass casserole. Remove from microwave, drain, add jelly and chili to casserole. Microwave on high until hot, stirring occasionally. Serve as above.
