- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 medium onion diced
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes (or 1 tbsp instant bouillon)
- 3 tbsp butter or margarine
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups frozen peas cooked (or canned)
- 1 lb Linguiça sliced
In large skillet fry onion and rice in butter over medium heat until rice is brown. Add water and bouillon, stirring to dissolve bouillon. Heat to boiling, lower heat and simmer covered 20 to 30 minutes until rice is tender. Meanwhile (in micro wave or frying pan) brown Linguiça. Stir pean and Linguiça into rice. Serve as main or side dish.
